"Hungry" is no way to live

Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.

17.4 million families go to bed hungry each night in the U.S. And an additional 6.9 million families face very low daily food security - that means they don't always know where their next meal is coming from.

Donate Now to Help

The Salvation Army feeds an average of 9,592 every year in Bozeman.

These meals are served to anyone in need - this includes homeless people of all ages, as well as individuals and families who may be down on their luck and in need of a helping hand. In addition to addressing the immediate symptoms of food insecurity, our programs are designed to help identify and treat its root cause. This approach focuses on meeting the physical, mental and spiritual needs of each person and helps move many from hungry to fully healed.

Each year The Salvation Army provides meals to those who are facing the threat of food insecurity.

Food Pantries
By offering access to free, fresh produce and canned goods, we provide valuable meal supplementation while helping those in need maintain their independence and dignity.

Sack Lunch Program: Monday - Thursday; 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

If you are in need please visit our Corps to collect a sack lunch. Our lunch packs include: a sandwich, chips, snacks, and fruit.

Food is not only a core human physical need, but also a source of joy, replenishment, and even community – and at The Salvation Army, we believe everyone deserves access to the food they need to survive and thrive. That’s why in addition to a wide range of other services, we’re proud to offer a Lunch program for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or need a ready to eat meal, served to anyone who comes through our door. Many working adult’s paychecks aren’t enough to sustain them fully, so we also see working people take part in our lunch service. Because of the main points above and inflation, many are struggling to meet nutritional needs. Either being forced to eat unhealthy foods due to a lack of funds or not eating at all; which effects every part of us. We currently provide 60 lunches each day to folks in the community.

Hot Coffee and Lunch during winter

There's times that the weather reaches such low temperatures where a cup of coffee or a hot lunch makes all the difference in somebody. During winter months we provide hot coffee and have a hot lunch available if someone chooses so.
